Title: Ventrilo Post by: jaggedjunkie on July 31, 2010, 02:32:24 PM Hi we are having issues with the ventrilo box on our website, its been working fine for a long time but lately its not showing any details.
Ive made sure all the ports are open on the site, but someone said that it also does a query to your site from what i gather. Any help on this would be great. Steven/Jagged Title: Re: Ventrilo Post by: Mick on July 31, 2010, 11:33:25 PM The only thing it checks on my site is for updates.
The only reasons you would not be getting details is if the firewall on the web server was not allowing outbound UDP traffic to the ventrilo server or the ventrilo server was blocking remote query. ? UDP outbound on the web server needs to be open for the port ? UDP inbound on the vent server ? Options set to allow for remote status in the vent config If those are all set then leave me a private message with contact information, name and best times to reach you. |
