Post by: Mick on March 26, 2007, 02:44:17 PM Please excuse if this is a bad translation.
I am sorry but I do not speak German. I attempted a translation and got the idea of your problem. You need to contact your web host and ask if they will install Zend for you. It should be a standard request and Zend is a free installation. Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on March 28, 2007, 02:30:01 PM Hey guys i posted on the gotteamspeak forums but thought i would move it to here. Basically the mod is installed and i filled it out with a server etc.. that i knew the UDP and query ports of... the problem is the server is saying its offline all the time... I have tried using a few other team speak servers... Is there a reason for this... Do i need a server password to be filled out int the HTTP section or something ? Hope you can help looks cool btw nice job :) If your TS server is showing offline and you are sure that you have the correct query and TS ports, the only thing that may be happening is that your host is not allowing outbound TCP requests via that port. Ask your host to open a TCP Outbound port to be opened through the firewall to your Query Port (ie: 51234). They should have no problem doing that as it is an outbound request for your TS server. If there is an issue, please forward me their email address and I can see what I can do for you. Thank you for your support!! Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on April 17, 2007, 08:58:57 AM After you click the "I Agree" selection are you clicking the "Click here to proceed" button or the "Back" button?
I have just tried it and I mistakenly hit the back button too. LOL Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on April 17, 2007, 08:56:06 PM Thank you for pointing that out ... I finally saw on the back end that it was in fact being edited. It should be all good now!
Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on May 20, 2007, 06:09:57 PM Thank you for your compliment. In the works for the future is removing the branding but only for donations.
At the current time, if you want an unbranded version, it will require a recompile and a lockdown to only your site. This is not something that I was to release under the GNU. As I get back into it, I will be adding more options and will take your suggestions into account. Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. There is a setting in the module (backend) where you set the width, that should take care of Firefox. IE 7 on the other hand has been getting a big spanking in the community because of it's lack of compliance with WC3 standards. To force the module to the left side will take you modifying the CSS to include "float:left;" and "align:left;" into the (I believe) the moduletable area. Or you can modify the index.php to put a "<div align="left">" before the mosloadmodules('left', -2); area and a "</div>" after. If those do not work, please let me know what the website is and I can see if I can determine a better solution to fix Microsoft ... LOL Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on May 22, 2007, 02:58:20 PM No problem --- Glad to help!
Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on September 07, 2007, 01:13:51 PM great work ... is it possible to include scroll bars? maybe iframe? the right navigation side on our website is small, so when people join on TS2 with large nicks, it looks terrible ... I hate iframes ... lol. That is something that I am going to release in the next version. What I am going to do is truncate the larger names and add a ... Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on November 26, 2007, 09:13:19 PM I do not have any provisions for restricting to just one set of rooms. The query runs on the server and port combo, because of the changes to rooms and the way that Teamspeak handling it -- it would be a very difficult task to accomplish.
Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on December 17, 2007, 04:33:47 PM I looked at what you sent me and it does not seem to fit what you would like to do.
I just got back from out of town, so I have been a little lax getting to things. When I get back to updating this module, I will see if I can put it a restriction of a starting (root) channel and ignore all the rest. Title: Re: The ultimate Teamspeak module for Joomla/Mambo. Post by: Mick on January 07, 2008, 03:08:16 PM I believe that I sent you a PM response to this.
I have yet to modify the module to add the "root" function. In regards to the unbranding, I am willing to unbrand my products for a paypal donation to mh2 @ mh2design.com. I would also need the website that it is to be used on as it will be locked down to that site. |
