Hi there, I am trying out this awesome shoutbox and so far it is great looking although there a few things I would like to change...

Is it possible to reverse the default scrolling direction or make new posts appear on the bottom instead of top?

On my shoutbox, when someone enters a shout, it places it at the top of everything, so as it scrolls upwards it kind of defeats the whole purpose of it scrolling in my opinion... hehe.

Also, on my site, I do not display the user's usernames at all, I use their real name field. Is there any way I can have it display their real name instead of username? Basically, the way I have it setup at the moment, is when you go to register, I renamed the "real name" field to "display id" and is public to everyone and is what is displayed to everyone. Then I renamed the username field to "login id" and set that as private and unsearchable. This is very important to me because I do not want my user's usernames being displayed anywhere.

One more thing I think that I would like to see is more control over the speed... I have thought about using this module in a horizontal position rather than vertical, and in that case, it scrolls a tad to fast at slowest speed setting and I would like to be able to slow it down even more a bit.

BTW I'm using Joomla 1.0.15 and CB 1.2

Well now that all that is cleared up, I took the opportunity to donate and try to unbrand the shoutbox, and I'm encountering some problems with that. When I click the click to check unbranding status in backend, I get a blank page.

Can you verify that your "administrator/components/com_mh2shoutbox/includes" directory is set to 755 please

I'm on Windows Pro, and I just made it fully writeable in permissions and unhidden and it is still a blank page.

Are you using IIS or apache?  What is the URL?  If you can PM me connection information, I can run some tests.

Yes ... sorry -- got tied up with a few things.

What version of the shoutbox are you using?

If you can get me FTP access, I can try to determine what is going on with it.

All I would need is the /administrator/components/mh2_shoutbox and /components/mh2_shoutbox directories.

Ok, I'll have to setup a ftp server. I should have that done late tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks bud.
