The speed being 1 states that it will move 1px at a time. It will seem too fast if your module is short and there is no spacing between messages.

That is the slowest you can make it in this environment.

I would suggest that you make your module height 250-275px, add a 5-7px spacing, and see if that helps.

What browser are you using?

It was designed to be a scroller, I understand what you are looking for and it may be something within the future.

Unfortunately, at this time I am under the gun on a few other projects so I cannot spend the time to devise the method in which to accomplish this -- at the moment.
