Hello there Smiley

My name is Alan and I have been building a website in joomla the site is http://www.theconclaveguild.com and I have been trying to install the module.
Firstly theres no problem with the module installation, I ma getting the error saying that the server is offline.... Now reading from other posts here, I will assume that this is because my Webhost http://www.servage.net have certain ports blocked.

How do I go about finding what ports I need unblocking? bit of a noobish question  Embarrassed

I do have the following:

Server Address: 87.117.194.107:9259
Query Port: 2091 (For webpost)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I popped on your TS to speak with you about this but you were not there.

I did an open port search and did not find that your TS server had one of the standard open port for the Web post.
2091 is not open for query.

Here are the steps to get everything working:
• You will need to contact your Teamspeak provider and ask what the query port is.
In the server.ini file under the "[Main Config]" heading there is a setting called "TCPQueryPort", this is the port that you will need (ie: 51234)
• Add that port into the backend configuration

If the server does not show up after this, you will need to contact the web host and ask for a TCP outbound connection to be opened up past their firewall on the port from the server.ini (ie: 51234)

If you are still having problems after this, please feel free to contact me and I will see if there is anything else I can figure out.

Had an email response to my Query with my host.

Hello Alan,

TCP port 2091 is open on the server.
Thank you.

Kind regards,
Nick, Servage Hosting

Any other suggestions?

I did a quick scan of the port on your Teamspeak IP and port 2091 is not accessible there.

Are you sure that is the TCP query port?

Who is your Teamspeak provider?

I posted a message to their support asking about the open port.  When I get some information back from them I will forward it to you.

I have jumped on your TS a few time and have not been able to catch you there..

OK .. I have the answer for you and I have it verified on this site.

The port was 2091 and is now 9259

If it does not work, then you will need your host to open that port on a TCP outbound connection.  After that, you will have a working status block.  Smiley

Hi Mick, I have the same problem. Im making the web http://www.clandsf.net/ and appears the message "the server is offline...."

My provider gives me this details:

IP: 213.149.252.196:8777 (ts6.nls.es:8777)
Query Port: 51235

I checked all things and I tried another TS modules for joomla... all times the same Sad So I think that the problem is not in my joomla web.

My provider saids that the ports are open, ¿can you check it or explain to me the way for do it?  Smiley

I took a look at your Teamspeak and the ports are correct.  The problem it seems is that your web host has the outbound TCP connection blocked.

The request that you have to make to your web host is as follows:

-------- cut here -------------
Please open port 51235 for outbound TCP connections.  I will be using this to query my Teamspeak server.  If you are still concerned about security, can you please at least open the ability to connect to 213.149.252.196 TCP on port 51235.
-------- cut here -------------

That is a pretty standard request for any hosting company.

Let me know what they say, if necessary I can contact them as well for you.

The port is open now and TS module can work (but only special members can see it for the moment)

My provider saids that he will check the web server and if the TS module affects the performance of the server he will close the port Huh (I hope this can't be a problem)

Thanks again for your help Mick Smiley
