1and1 said that you had to put a php.ini in each folder??? If they have Zend installed on the box, it should not require that!  Typically, that case only exists if you are using Ioncube.

If you really need to copy your php.ini, there is an easy was to do that from an SSH logon.
Goto your root public_html directory and type in the following command:


find -type d -exec ln -s /fulldirectory/php.ini ./ {} \;

Replace the fulldirectory with the actual directory where your main php.ini file exists.

If you do not have access to your SSH then the only places you would need to copy your file to would be:
? Main root to your site
? components/com_mh2shoutbox
? administrator
? administrator/com_mh2shoutbox
? modules
? modules/mod_mh2shoutbox
