This is an issue with using the same paypal to sell ebay items.

I do have an idea on how to allow for the bypass.  Give me a few to work on it and I will put up a new version in a few days.

Mick is providing this for free and as such I don't think that it is fair to expect a release date/ fix date for any free software, although I appreciate your plight.

A simple solution would be to create another PayPal account and use that for the site - keep your personal PayPal account separate. Just a suggestion.

Cheers

Thank you Roland, I appreciate your understanding of my plight! LOL

I just released version 2.32 of the treasury that takes care of the module override and there is now a Paypal Item ID restriction ability in the backend configuration.

Thank you for understanding!  The upgrade button has been there since 2.05 I think.

This should work out for you, just make sure that you also turn the restriction on to only those paypal ids

I am bowing in your general direction Mick! Cheers mate!

Any chance that this update fixes the treasury module not ignoring then component settings when set to do so? (I'll go update and see!)

Again cheers and keep on rockin' dude! Smiley

That "should" fix the module as well.  If not, remove the module and reinstall from the downloaded one on the site.

uninstalled module and reinstalled downloaded module, but no joy Mick - component settings are still not ignored. Sad  Do I have to make a copy of this module to have the "ignore component settings" work mate?

Did you happen to set the option to ignore the component settings in the module?

If this still does not work, please send me (Private message) FTP and Administrator logon information so that I can see what is happening.
