problems with IE 6+7

I have installed the shoutbox and module which all work great in Firefox .the problem i have is that when i publish the module on the front page i get errors with Internet explorer it will crash the page with operation aborted.
Firefox has no problems at all.
IE will work if i unpublish the module

There are quite a few factors that could be causing this, one is dependent on the version of Mootools that may be running within your template.

To see if it will make a difference, turn off the modal section in the configuration and use it as an inline component.

That seems to have sorted it until i log into my account then it's still the same.

Not sure, will check into some things with it.

The Mootools turn off should have corrected it whether or not you are logged in. Are there any other modules loaded when you log in that are not there otherwise?
