I just saw your vent module and I did like it compared to one other I could find. I'm designing a couple of websites and I need to have a vent status for them so I am trying it on my guilds site.

the webserver is on a Windows 2003 with the latest mySQL, PHP, and Joomla! in my home so I have full control over the ports. My vent server is being hosted in dallas through Gamedaemons.com

I have gotten almost everything up and running (except for theme changes) but the vent module still isn't connecting. so far this is what I have done:
- Opened up the port for my vent on my router.
- Gave full permissions to the ventrilo_status.exe
- installed it into my site
- Configured it
- Checked vent to make sure all the permissions were correct.
- Restarted the server.

Still it comes up as could not connect. Anything I might be missing?

Yes and all the options are checked.

Yes I have and I checked the settings again and they are all good, but still no connetion.
