hi there, i have installed the ventrilo module that u have made and i can not seem to get it to work .

i enter my server name, server address, and the server port number to connect to my server?

i have read these forum but dont understand about the qury port? where do i add this and where do i get it from.

Answered in PM:

To reiterate,
Please ask your provider to open an "Outgoing UDP port" to your ventrilo port.

This program makes use of the ventrilo_status executable.
To insure proper operation, this file will need to be chmodded
to at least 744.

still waiting for some help on this as my server admin says the ports are open!

There is one more thing I can think of, in the Ventrilo setup there are options regarding the ability to get status:

StatusServerComment=1
StatusChanNames=1
StatusChanComments=1
StatusUserNames=1
StatusUserComments=1

They should be set like I have above.  If this does not work, please forward me your Vent info and I will get on and assist.
