Hi Mick,

I have been browsing for a vent module for joomla 1.5 rc3, and have found yours  Grin

I am not sure of the intended audience, however I am running J! 1.5 RC3 and vent 3.0.0, however I have the following issues:

Backend:

The Add Modules screen is clearly not displaying as it should - I hope I am not forced to look at your advert whenever I work on *any* module (of course I dont mind seeing it when I work on *your* module!).  Here is what I get:

Also the edit_module screen is also incorrect!

It appears that I am getting native html as a description ;-)

Now onto the error!

Once I enable the module, this is what I get:

"<div class="module
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get() in /data01/natures/public_html/templates/system/html/modules.php on line 82"

This is with legacy mode turned on - so this should work on 1.5 as well!

As soon as I disable the module I can view the relevent page absolutly fine!!

These errors aside (assuming they can be worked through) I was hoping to use your code as a basis for a slight tweak - is it possible to aquire a editable version that has not been through the optimiser ? As this is for an opensource platform I would really like to see the code!

My aim was to have a module  on the right hand side (see www.enigmaguild.org) simply displaying the server status, the number of users online and providing a link to log into the server guest channel.  Via a 'view more' dialouge I then wanted to open a mainbody page, showing the full vent tree view in a given module position.

Is this somthing I will be able to achieve with your mod ?

Many thanks in advance,

Mizpah

PS: I am told that the vent sever status function has not changed between 2.3.1 and 3.0.0 !!

Has anyone else got these issues, and is this plugin still considered  live ?

I am not sure what is going on with your installation.  Did you chmod the ventstatus as instructed?

As far as the future support for Joomla, because of their licensing restrictions, we will no longer be supporting the Joomla CMS.

I will try to assist as much as possible.

Quote
"<div class="module
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get() in /data01/natures/public_html/templates/system/html/modules.php on line 82"

This error does not seem to be associated with any code in my module.  We can set up a time where I can logon and look at a few things to make sure that everything is setup correct, but first -- please chmod the ventstatus program.
