Using Joomla for our site oscaarsim.ca and I tried to install the paypal mod - I try to update the page with my database information but it does not save the info - tried creating a second database in case I messed something up but it appears it will not keep the setting

Will this mod/component work with Joomla 1.0.12? - I should have maybe asked this first!

Not to patronize you, but did you hit the save button after making your changes?

If yes, then please make sure the the components/com_mh2treasury/ directory is set to at least 755 in order to write the config file.

Not sure about Joomla as I write my programs for Mambo.  I believe there is a Joomla installation in use right now.

Hi Mick - thanks for the reply.

Yes, have hit the save button and apply button - double checked all the database names and passwords.

The directory was not set to 755, so changed it and no difference.

Do you recall which Joomla site was using it?  Perhaps I can visit their site and find a contact there to see if they did anything special for it.

Thanks again.

Hi Mick,
I too have found the same problem.
Database information is not saved with Joomla 1.0.13.

Also, I could not register with my usual email address.
I suspect that you need spf records added to your dns server for email verification.

And finally...
Registration image does not appear in FF 2.0.

Thanks!

As a result of some of the issues with the differences between Joomla and Mambo, I have decided to invoke a fix that will cover the issue that people are reporting with the Treasury system and Joomla.

There is an updated version for download --- 1.3

Thanks for fixing up the mod for joomla - very much appreciated.

I have tried to install the new package - but am not able to create the database.  Have entered in the database name, user name & password then hit apply - but it appears that it does not create the tables

Is the mod compatible with Joomla 1.0.12?  Your docs say .13 - wondered if that may be my trouble.

Thanks again

Once you put in the appropriate information and click apply, as long as the db user has privileges to the table then the databases will be created.

Make sure that you assigned the user the correct rights.

I know you said you weren't supporting J! 1.5 but I thought I'd at least ask anyway...

I'm trying to configure treasury and there seems to be a bug which causes config.mh2treasury.php to get wiped out with no settings save.  If I add the settings manually, the standard config component sees the database and gives me the "create tables" prompt but as soon as I hit "Save" or "Apply", the config file is simple wiped clean again.  I've tried it with a 'dba' user as well as regular r/w user. Permissions are correct (755, otherwise a good config file wouldn't be wiped out) and because you are using Zend Optimized php, there's not much I can do except ask you to look into it.  If you wanted to make the source php available, I could probably debug it but as it stands now....

(btw - there's $50 in it for you if a fix is provided.)

Please re-download the the release and re-install it.  Config file functions should work flawlessly now.

Working great now!!  Have both the teamspeak and paypal modules on site and both work great... The only suggestion I would have would be to allow Module Suffix Class entry for both of these so u can place them in a custom module... Need any help testing etc etc lemme know... you can contact me at my email or msn messenger using my email addy... Thanks for your work, JR

Also is it possible to make a donation here on your site to remove your links from the bottom of your modules?  Or could the one that is on the teamspeak module be made a lil less obtrusive like the paypal module?

Anybody have it working with J! 1.5?  Config works great but activating the module gives me the proverbial white page of nothingness....   I'm using J! 1.5 in Legacy mode with the rhuk_milkyway template.

I have put up an updated version on 2/19.  I have tested on a J-1.5 installation with that set and it seems to work.

I believe that Joomla has fixed something in their code that allows the original module to work properly in legacy mode.  Do not use the 12/26 Module for Joomla 1.5.1.
