I was looking for a Ventrilo module to display our guilds Vent status from our Joomla based website and came across your offering. So I downloaded the module, uploaded it, put the settings into it then published it...then I got 404 errors trying to connect to our website. I could still access the Admin section fine, so i unpublished and website is fine......I thought this was a tad unusual....so I went back through and basically turned off all the extra settings inside the module, including the option to show the server 'in the module'. Refreshed the main webpage and I can see where the Vent module will go and it displays 'Module not active' and the rest of your copyright material. If I publsih my vent server details it will again kill the front end of my website!

I'm at a loss as to whats going on. I've had plenty of modules in the past display errors and what not, but not 404 my site lol!

Your module does look like its a pretty damned good one so I'd love to get it up and running Wink

Cheers.

If I remember correctly, I believe that the fix was properly setting the permissions on the files.
