At this time I am not sure that it can even be taken on.  There is a learning curve with the functionality differences, integration not to mention the support issues.  We will look further into what it would take to make it happen, but with the external projects I am just not sure that we will be able to get it done.

No problem.  Just for educational purposes:  Even though both are PHP based, the MH2 software relies on portions of the CMS libraries to work properly.  Easiest analogy is that two people speak English but one is a plumber and the other an engineer.  They may have an idea about what each does but cannot do the work.

Now, speaking with a friend who is more familiar with VB he questioned what front end CMS you are going to add to it.  VB is basically just a forum, you have to do something else to give it the CMS feel.  There are bridges for Mambo and Joomla which would still allow you to use the component.

Is there an ability to create multiple donations? For example I want a link to "Membership Donations", "General Fund", "Charity Fund". Each would be a separate line item in paypal with differing amounts, or just the ability to have different pages from my drop down menu from the top....I hope I am explaining correctly...my site is not live yet so I am just developing on my local server.

Any news from your friend about the task of placing this on VB Advanced CMS ?

Hello Mick... yes, you are "tha man"  I've tried way too many donation modules and yours is TOPS!

Big downer about the inability to buy an unencrypted version - but I can respect your reasons...

That being said I was unsure where to place this post...

If we cannot buy a version to "modify" ourselves can we pay you to modify a new version of the module?

There are a few key things my organization needs that could even be considered "bugs" ... not sure...

1. In the Transaction page (admin side) when a paypal donation gets loaded into the system I am unclear what gets loaded into "category" field ... neither my custom text field or custom options are loaded there (which I really need to see both in this report because that is where we track which fund the donation goes to and in who's honor/memory the donation is made in)

2. The donor list that is displayed on the user side... I like how you can choose to not show the amounts... it would be great if you could choose to show the two custom fields (text field and the option field)...

3. Would be great to be able to change the size of the custom text field.

4. Finally, the layout of the component is a bit off... it might be user error (me) but it would be ideal if the Donor listing came below the donation form instead of beside it..
